Webinar for the protection of old growth forests

On 23rd of April from 17.00 to 18.30 EEST (16:00 - 17:30 CET) will take place a webinar, titled: Old Growth Forests: Approaches to ensure their protection – examples from Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine. What is an old growth forest, where in Europe there are still OGFs left, why to protect them and how – all these questions will be addressed. The focus of the webinar is to present different tools enabling protection of OGFs, already applied in Bulgaria. A brief overview and examples for protecting OGFs in Romania, Ukraine and Slovakia will be also provided.
