Osogovo Mountain – The Secrets Of The Unknown Mountain Bike Destination

Osogovo is a beautiful mountain, only an hour and a half drive away from Sofia. It is shared between Bulgaria and Macedonia. Have you been there? On a bike?

We will reveal the secrets of this unknown mountain bike destination to you on the 10th of October in the Travelers’ Club in Sofia. We will tell you details about the new trails we identified, about the interesting species you could meet there during your ride. We will explain the meaning of The European Green Belt and why Osogovo is a part of it. We will present the concept of ”self-guided biking tours”. Of course there will be also practical information about places to stay, eat and repair your bike.

The event is organized in the framework of the project “Supporting Sustainable Future For People And Nature In Osogovo”, implemented by Euronatur, the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation and the Macedonian Ecological Society, with the financial support of the German Federal Foundation for Environment (DBU) and the Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS).
