The first transnational meeting for the partners of the project "Fauna Assessment and management to safeguard Biodiversity in cross-border mountainous areas of Bulgaria and Greece: Innovative approaches to estimate monitor and protect biodiversity in local ecosystems – BIO-INNOVATE" was organized on 22nd of November in the the Municipality of Prosotsani. The project is supported by the Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020.
There were representatives of the project partners: Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation – Branch Eastern Rhodopes; Municipality of GotseDelchev; Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – Special Account for Research Funds – School of Veterinary Medicine (Lead Beneficiary) and Municipality of Prosotsani.
The main goal of the kick-off meeting was to discuss and approve the management plan of the project, including time-frame of the activities, outputs, results, indicators and resources for the project activities.
