The 4th day started a little different from the previous days as the group divided in two. While ones learned what it is to fly in a tandem paraglider flight at lift Sopot, others preferred to visit “Damascena” Complex in Skobelevo village and to hear more about rose oil production and rose picking, which are spreading the glory of Bulgaria all over the world for almost 3 centuries already.
Around lunch time the group united and was transferred to the northern part of “Central Balkan” BR - the region of Troyan Municipality. We were accommodated in the guest houses "Trite pati" and "Oreshaka", located in Oreshak village, near Troyan.
After the delicious lunch at Casa Art Restaurant the afternoon session started with prof. Lenzerini who focused on how to define a BR Branding strategy and also presented some concrete and different example of BRs’ projects connected to the use of MAB and BR brand on products and services.
After an improvised coffee break, the group gathered together for another interesting talk by Dessislava Dimitrova about Slow Food and its focus on local products. While the chefs from Cosmos Restaurant were preparing some cosmic food, Tzvetan Dimitrov presented the famous green cheese from Cherni Vit village and their joint project “Edinenie” (Unity). The project focuses on transformation of long forgotten or well preserved local traditional foods and products into modern and traditional meals and recipes.
The day was too short for all of the exciting talks and visits, thus the participants decided to continue their group work on their projects and proposals in the morning, as tomorrow they will have to present them from 5 p.m. in the Cultural and Information Center of Troyan with the participations of local institutions, media, business and etc.
